MASCHINE workspace with projects, knowledge and notes on iPad

01 / PROJECT CONTEXT / IPAD

EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE.

A workspace keeps an entire undertaking together: projects, structured knowledge documents, notes, sketches, code snippets and assets. Technical work and its wider context remain connected.

WORKSPACES / LEXICON / NOTES / SKETCHES / SNIPPETS / ASSETS

02 / IDE / MAC AGENT

CODE. BUILD. TEST.

MASCHINE IDE with Swift code, build output and an interactive simulator preview

Create SwiftUI, Xcode, Swift Package and Python projects on iPad. The free Mac Agent handles Apple builds and tests on your own Mac. Diagnostics lead directly back to the affected file and line.

Running apps can be opened as interactive previews. The project tree, editor, build output and simulator remain within one workspace.

03 / MACOS + LINUX / TERMINAL

YOUR ENVIRONMENT. YOUR MAC.

The Mac Agent hosts isolated macOS or Linux runtimes. Verified workspace snapshots, terminal sessions and runtime desktops bring development environments to iPad.

Remote Desktop connects Mac displays, runtime desktops and running apps. Over the internet, Relay brokers encrypted connection data; video and input are transferred directly and securely between iPad and Mac whenever possible.

04 / DOCUMENTATION / LEXICON

KNOWLEDGE THAT STAYS WITH THE PROJECT.

Structured knowledge documentation in the MASCHINE lexicon

CONCEPTS, GUIDES, TUTORIALS, REFERENCES, ARCHITECTURE DECISIONS AND WORKFLOWS REMAIN CONNECTED TO THEIR WORKSPACE.

05 / IPAD + MAC + WINDOWS

CONNECT YOUR DEVICES.

Within the local network, MASCHINE connects iPad with the Mac Agent or Windows Companion app. Assets can be transferred between your own devices and used within the appropriate workspace.

07 / TRIAL + LICENSE

THREE DAYS. ALL FEATURES.

A three-day trial with the complete feature set begins when MASCHINE is opened for the first time. Afterwards, workspaces, documentation and basic organization remain available.

Mac Agent development, builds, runtimes, Remote Desktop, Relay, SFTP and Windows file transfers subsequently require either a monthly subscription or a lifetime license.
